As part of our "Find It Here" emphasis, we are prayer walking over 4000 homes in our area of Lexington. My family and signed up to cover about 200 of those homes.

Last Thursday I was out of town at a meeting, but let me relay what happened while I was gone.

We are now just a few days away from completing Awakening our 21 days of prayer and fasting.

We have now made it to the halfway point in our Awakening 21 Days of prayer and fasting.

We are now at almost a week of our 21 day period of prayer and fasting.

It is late Sunday afternoon and I am thankful to God for our Trinity family's response to Awakening. The past few weeks I have been studying about fasting and it's importance as part of the Christian life.

Even though Samuel had anointed young David as the future King of Israel, for years it looked like it would never come to pass.

Our giving together this year has made it possible for us to host a weekly children’s worship in at the Eastland Mobile Home Park. Also, in the past month we began an 8:30 am worship service named Adonai and revamped our 10:50 am worship named Celebrate! These new services have increased worship attendance by 10% in the past month.

In the past 10 years, one of the best selling books is Rick Warren's Purpose Driven Life.  In this book he answers the question of what on earth are we here for.  One of the purposes for your life and mine is that we were planned for God’s pleasure.  God is crazy about you.  God did not need to create you and me, but God chose to do so.  God loves you totally and completely.  The best thing you and I can do is respond to that love with open arms
