Faithfulness and Giving

Our giving together this year has made it possible for us to host a weekly children’s worship in at the Eastland Mobile Home Park. Also, in the past month we began an 8:30 am worship service named Adonai and revamped our 10:50 am worship named Celebrate! These new services have increased worship attendance by 10% in the past month.

We are blessed to have a growing ministry with Internationals. Every month we are meeting new friends from around the world who have settled in Lexington. Most of these new neighbors have come as refugees from other nations having lost all their earthly possessions and in some cases loved ones to war. Your offerings make it possible to reach out into our community.

Now as we move into Advent and toward Christmas, we have chosen “Is there hope for my life?” as our theme this year. Many people are asking this huge and frightening question. The coming of Jesus Christ brings hope to all people forever.  Use the attached calendar to keep up to date with what’s going on.

So we humbly ask for your continued support of what God is doing at Trinity these days. All gifts are important and appreciated. God is honored b our faithfulness.

As you are giving gifts at Christmas, please don’t forget Trinity. Trinity Baptist is worthy of our enthusiastic sacrificial support. We are unlike ay other church inn Lexington. We must continue to press on to the opportunities God ahs opened for us now.

God is in the business of multiplying. From a single seed, god grows a plant. You and I began as a union of 1 cell from our mother and father. God will multiply our faithful giving.

I realiize that the set aside time of society's Christmas celebration has come and gone. However, I wish to share how exciting it was (and sometimes stressful) in trying to seek and search out items to be given in the Spirit of Love to our International Brothers and Sisters. With the barrier of my inability to speak their language it was difficult to communicate and find out what exactly was needed. However, it seems that we all were able to contribute and meet their needs to an extent. But, needs continue and we must continue to strive to help those who are in need. Our CHURCH is in need of greater financial backing; our newest congregants are in need of a kind word or a hug; our members who are AWOL are in need of being sought and brought back into the family; our sick and elderly are in need of visiting; our city's transient and homeless are in need of a salfe haven. The list goes on and on and so do our responsibilities. IT'S UP TO US by the Power of God to GET THE JOBS DONE. In truth, no one should ever be considered UNEMPLOYED. There is a God Job awaiting someone to apply for. I truly do not believe you will be denied and I KNOW the pay is far greater than you can ever imagine. Blessings to all.
