TBC Work Day: May 14
We have scheduled a work day for our church building and our three mission houses. We will be working inside and outside….cleaning and doing some much needed yard work on Glass Avenue at our three mission houses. Come anytime between the hours of 9:00 am and 2:00 pm. Lunch will be provied for you! The Property & Grounds Committee would love to have a good turn out for this project.

15 Passenger Van Fund

Dear Friends of Trinity Baptist Church;

Now in existence for over 64 years, Trinity Baptist Church continues to strive to expand its programs and offerings to the community. We hope that you will be able to take part in one or more of the many exciting events that we are offering this year and experience firsthand the pride we take in supporting our cause.

It is our mission to Love Like Christ. In order to meet our mission and provide services in our community, we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support. Without the assistance of community-minded individuals just like you, we wouldn’t be able to those in our community each year.

We will purchase one or two 15 passenger vans. Trinity Baptist Church uses the vans to transport church members to and from church on Sundays, Wednesdays and special occasions. Our First Friday kids, elementary school age kids, use the Vans to go to Nursing Homes, and kid specific events. Our RALI Group (Retired and Liking It) relies on the vans for their outings each month. The Youth depend on our vans for their activities including Christian Themed concerts, summer camp and mission minded work in the community.

We ask that you make a commitment to support our Van Fund by making a cash donation. Our goal is $ 40,000, and we hope that you will be able to make a contribution. Your generosity will make a difference in our community by allowing us to
continue in our work.

Young Adult Classes

Life Matters

Is part of the Bible Studies for Life Series designed specifically for young adults (ages 18-34). This curriculum series creates a dynamic experience to help young adults discover God’s will and learn more about His Word.

This will be a 3 month bible study.
March: Born Identity
April: This I Know
May: A Life of Influence

When: Saturday, March 3

Where: Trinity Baptist Church

Time: 4:00 – 5:00 pm

In the meantime

In the Meantime……..
Soon we will be headed into the summer with all of the activities that are a part of summer.
Often, the summer is seen as a “down time” in the life of the church.
I know some of you will be gone for vacation, and I hope you have a good restful time.
However, I want to ask some things of you on behalf of our church and her ministry.

1. Be here when you’re in town. Your presence makes worship special.

2. Say “yes” when you’re asked to do something. We’ll need workers for Bible School,
Youth trips, and all kinds of things.

3. Don’t forget your tithes and offerings to Trinity. Between pastors is the time to step
up to the plate and give generously. A new pastor will see Trinity’s commitment.

4. Be sure to pray for God’s leadership for Trinity. This church has some great folks,
and I know God has great things in store for you.

Bible Study Fellowship, (BSF)

Bible Study Fellowship

BSF meets every Monday night at Trinity Baptist Church. The women meet at Trinity at 6:55 p.m. Women, come out and fellowship with others and learn the bible.

BSF will not meet during the Christmas break, but will resume again on Jan. 9, 2012.
